ABOUT ME

Hi!

My name is Andressa Lahoud, I am an architect and urban planner, graduated from FAU Mackenzie.

As soon as I entered college, I wanted to do scientific research, as it would be an opportunity to learn beyond what the course offers, even though I didn't have an interest in writing and researching at the time.

In the second year of the course, I chose the research area: Construction Systems and Materials; but I didn't know exactly what the topic would be, so Steel was proposed, as it is still a material with great resistance for use in more traditional typologies in the city.

The following year, I joined the Mack Concreto Academic League, which participates in student competitions organized by IBRACON (Brazilian Institute of Concrete). In our group, we study concrete and its applications, in addition to proposing projects for the city hosting the Brazilian Concrete Congress (CBC), which changes every year.

In the league, I found myself in urban infrastructure projects, as the last two Ousadias Competitions (2022 and 2023) aimed to redevelop parts of the cities hosting the congress.

I graduated at the end of 2024, and urban infrastructure projects are truly my greatest passion! I was able to apply the knowledge and techniques I gained during college, the 2 years at Mack Concreto, and my internship.

Finally, I really enjoy listening to music, taking photos of the city, drawing, reading, researching, cooking, and I love drinking coffee!
