ENCLOSURE Φ

There was no specific location to implement the project, since the purpose of the exercise was to develop learning about the rows and types of brickwork. In addition, we had to propose some part of the Enclosure in reinforced ceramic, that is, bricks that are positioned along steel bars.

The concept of the enclosure was based on the Golden Ratio, which consists of an irrational algebraic real constant. This constant is worth approximately 1.618, the golden number.

In this way, this Enclosure received the name Φ (phi), a Greek letter, since it is used to identify the Fibonacci Sequence, which is the golden ratio with elaborated properties.

Water mirrors were added along the walls, following this proportion. These permeate all the environments, not only having an aesthetic function, but also for users to take advantage of.

The walls range from 0.54m to 10.05m in height, but were designed gently so as not to create a feeling of claustrophobia.
