This project was my second within Mack Concreto and it is very special to me, both for the evolution we had as a group in Ousadia, for delivering it completely to the IBRACON board, as well as for having done a very complex project that would meet very well the needs that the city of Florianópolis faces in terms of traffic flow.

 

The project, therefore, should resolve the traffic situation in the Agronômica neighborhood on Florianópolis Island. This neighborhood is characterized as the most valued in the real estate sector of the city, since it has many institutional, commercial, and service infrastructures for society, but the area that should be most attractive, the waterfront, is overshadowed by the presence of an expressway, known as Beira Mar Norte.

 

That is why the Santa Bárbara Project, in addition to solving the traffic problem by building a tunnel that would connect Avenida Saudade and Jornalista Rubens de Arruda Ramos Avenue, proposed a requalification of the waterfront, with a program of needs that would be attractive to people:

• bike rack;

• observatory;

• lookout;

• commercial kiosks;

• areas of stay;

• enclosures;

• sports support;

• police and fire support;

• sanitary;

• replacement of bus stops;

• and renovation of existing courts.
