CUBE BLOCK HOUSE
There was no specific location to implement the project, since the purpose of the exercise was to develop the use of metal structures, specifically steel structures. In addition, we had to show how the structural elements would be connected, that is, by welding or by bolting.
The conceptualization of the cube-house-court exercise came from the idealization of a court open to the public with some shops at street level and an internal square with some types of vegetation and benches for people to sit on.
The buildings were planned to be arranged in a mirrored manner, consisting of 6 blocks, 4 of which are interconnected by walkways. In addition, the block has 162 apartments of 54m² and 2 shared laundries, which would be located in the 2 internal buildings of the block.
